Anvil Station Costuming Club prepares for Halo Outpost Discovery

If you’re a part of the Halo fandom and haven’t been under a rock over the past year or so, you’ve no doubt heard about Halo: Outpost Discovery! This is 343 Industries’ first ever all-Halo convention, touring multiple cities across the country. This weekend is the Anaheim event, and everyone at Anvil Station is excited to be working alongside the 405th Pacific Regiment to host panels and run one of the costuming booths!

Our entire team has been busting their *BLAM* to get our booth ready for all the bright-eyed Halo lovers like ourselves! Our goal is to replicate the feel of an actual Halo space station (like the one our club is named for). After the event, we will of course share lots of pics of the finished product, so stay tuned.

Until then, a few preview pics! Here you can see member Jose Valdez getting an awesome weapon rack ready!

This will be able to hold all of the team members weapon props, a few of which will be removable for con-goers to take pics with!!

Next we have member Ian Milward getting some help from his doggo on our display walls.

Least helpful pupper 13/10 deserves all the pets.

If you are attending the con, be sure to visit our booth and check out our costuming panels! The costuming panels, in collaboration with the 405th, are Friday at 2pm, Saturday at 12:15pm, and Sunday at 11:30am.

We are all excited for another awesome weekend of cosplay and friendship and hope you will join us!

See you ground side.

DairyBoy117, over and out.
