Anvil Station Costuming launches new website after successful Comic Con

Hello there!

It took me a year or two, but I’ve finally gotten the new website soft launched! This is only Phase 1 of a 5 phase plan to conquer the world. Phase 2 involves adding in user profiles and forums, and Phase 3 steps it up with an image and file uploader. I don’t know what Phase 4 is, but Phase 5 involves me taking control of the Domain and bringing peace by force upon the galaxy.

Then maybe burn some children alive with my pet dragon, while I’m on the topic of awful character development for otherwise beloved female characters.

WOW we seem to have gotten off topic. Let’s refocus.

Everyone at Anvil is busy prepping for Halo Outpost Discovery Anaheim, and we will have a post detailing that very soon! With us having a physical presence at the Con, I felt it would be cool for us to have a solid online presence to accompany it. So here it is. It’s got a lot of work to do going forward and I’m excited for the next phases.

Enough about the website though. Let’s change topics, because a cosplay blog on a cosplay website needs to talk about COSPLAY!

San Diego Comic Con 2019

We had a fantastic SDCC! Many of our members dished out multiple cosplays all week long, of course saving all our Halo costumes for the day of our Halo meetup / photoshoot! We had a decent turn out of Halo costumers, many of whom were familiar faces from Wonder Con earlier this year!

Lot’s of silliness and shenanigans took place, as is par for the norm.

Of course, it’s not truly a successful photoshoot until someone dishes out the hottest memes of the moment, which at this time was of course the raid on Area 51. They definitely will want a few Spartans on their team during that raid, we know how to deal with aliens better than anyone else!

Let me just take a moment to let the FBI agent assigned to spy on me know that no one is actually planning to raid Area 51.
